Geveo Ignite is an ideathon for university students in Sri Lanka. Submit an idea — no code, no prototype. Ten teams are shortlisted to pitch it in person.
How the competition runs
Every entry starts in round one. What survives each round is decided against the published rubric, not on the day.

Who can enter
Geveo Ignite 2026 is open to anyone currently enrolled as an undergraduate at a university or degree-awarding institute in Sri Lanka. Bring your student ID — we check it before the pitch round.
Teams may mix years, faculties and universities. You do not need a computer science background, and you do not need anyone on the team who can code.
Geveo employees, interns and their immediate family cannot enter. Everyone else is welcome, including people who have entered a Geveo competition before.
The final ten present in person at the Geveo office. If nobody on your team can travel to the pitch on the day, your entry cannot go through to that round.
